So basically, I’m 13. And this is really weird but is it normal not to find “normal” porn arousing?
Whenever I watch or see it, it makes me feel almost grossed out and I end up feeling the exact opposite of whatever it’s designed to make people feel. The weirdest part is the only kind I actually like, is the BDSM ones. Im not sure why, but the idea is just more appealing. Im not sure if this makes me really messed up or something, considering my age. Even when I was little i tended to think about those kinds of things more, for example I was watching a movie when I was 7 and in one scene a women is getting tied up and arrested, and I remember re imagining that scene many many times but with me being the one getting tied up. Im not going to go into details or anything but I’m not really sure what’s wrong with me. My friend always seems fine with anything to do with sex. She says I’m immature when I call normal p@rn gross or “not hot”. Today she even called me “anime sexual” (not a thing) because I said I find most p@rn not arousing. She says it’s unhealthy that I don’t.

To answer the title of your post: nope, you're not weird for not finding porn--especially those that portray more mainstream fantasies--"hot." Just because some people find them sexually arousing, it doesn't mean you have to. This doesn't mean there's something inherently wrong with you. The same goes to your friend; there are people whose sexual preferences are more varied, and there are those with more specific preferences.
