The best place to start is to ask your partner what he finds pleasurable. Some trans guys really enjoy fingering and others don't (which is also true for anyone with a vagina, honestly!) Some trans guys also find that fingering can trigger their dysphoria, so it might not be something they're interested in exploring at all. You could try telling your partner that you would enjoy touching his genitals and ask him what kind of touch he does on himself, if any. He will absolutely be the number one expert on his body.
