I'm a 14 year old girl and I've had my period for around 2 years now so I know that I definitely have a hole down there, but when I recently read a post the other day which showed an illustration of where my vagina hole is, I can't find it. There's like a solid but of flesh between my vulva and my anus and I just can't find my vagina and I don't know how big the hole is supposed to be either. And I really don't want to talk about this with my parents because they will think I'm weird if I'm starting to want to discover my body and know what it does.

It might help to think about looking less for a "hole" and feeling more for an opening, kind of like the opening of a sock when the top of it is pressed flat together. If what you're looking for is something that looks cavernous, you won't find it. Instead, the vaginal opening most often will look and feel -- which can be the easiest way to find it at first, and if you are holding a mirror in your other hand, then when you do find it, you'll be able to see where it is more easily -- more like a subtle opening between your inner labia. If you're sitting down, and using a finger to feel, pressing gently as you move down from where your pubic hair is, under your belly, over the external clitoris, then still moving down, towards your anus, you should feel an area where your finger can slide inside a little bit. That's your vaginal opening.

Thank you for helping me, I've tried to see if I could find it but I'm still not sure if it's the right thing. There's like a small opening feeling in the middle of my vulva and I don't know if that's where my vagina is, or if it's not, or if it's a tear there somehow.

If you’re feeling an opening then that is most likely your vaginal opening, a tear would not feel like that and would most likely be painful to the touch. If you try what Heather said with holding a mirror in one hand, it will be easier to see what you’re feeling as well. I suggest giving it a try that way and let us know if you’re still struggling after that.
