Hi everyone! So my ex and i broke up 3 months ago after 2 years of really passionate love bc he moved back to his country and its quite far away and Life was kinda hard on both of us..

Anyway so its been 3 months, for thoses 2 first months we couldnt Forget one another, and 2-3 weeks ago we told each others that we were still in love but that we REALLY needed to be in no contact, so Thats what we did


Last week, im waking up and thinking « mhm, how strange i never see him seeing my ig stories? » i found out he unfollowed me EVEYWHERE, even on tiktok Where he basically never goes so idk?? I felt so betrayed bc in our last conversation he said that he wanted some distance too but not to the point Where we have to pretend the other doesnt exist


So now ive been sad and very angry for a few days, am i over réacting? Is it a normal thing? Was he hurt seeing me living my life on ig or has he found someone else (bc he was seeing a girl and..yk lol)?
I feel really dumb to have given 2 years of my Life and was planning on to meet him in his country just before we broke up for me to be wiped away like that..
My Friends told me various things so i need ur opinion guys

It sounds like this breakup has been a tough adjustment for you both. I can understand why realizing he's unfollowed you would bring up some big and tough feelings!
If you decided together that you needed to not be in contact anymore, I can imagine that regularly seeing parts of your life could be painful or difficult for him. If the agreement is not to communicate about things like that, it would make sense that you wouldn't get a head's up or have a discussion about it, right?
I don't think that means you are overreacting though: feeling hurt, sad, or angry is normal and letting yourself experience and feel those feelings is part of the journey of grief over an ended relationship.
