Only relatively recently started having sexual desires and it's kinda scary!

I'm asexual, which for me right now means that I'm completely disinterested in ever doing sex with another person. Just way more touching than seems appealing at all.

I also used to feel zero arousal under any circumstances and not have sexual fantasies, but that changed when it turned out I had been very ill for potentially years due to iron deficiency and it was treated. Also, I'm trans and I started testosterone around the same time my iron deficiency was treated. I knew that T increases horniness, but since I'm ace and I felt no sex drive at the time, I assumed it wouldn't do that because there was no horniness to increase  .

This is all a big change, and I actually like that I can feel sexual arousal and pleasure now, but I also found out that I'm really into vore (specifically fixated on mouths and being swallowed whole, rather than being the swallower, which grosses me out) and that's made me kind of irrationally paranoid about people finding out and deciding I must be a bad person.

I know that it doesn't, and I'm definitely not the first person to post to the forums about shame over a vore kink, I've read one of the other threads. It doesn't change the fact that I'm worried what others might think of me. I've actually had several nightmares about accidentally showing other people vore art or erotica.

On top of that, I really like horror in a way that doesn't have anything to do with sex, but since something or rather eating people is such a common trope in horror, I feel nervous about someone finding out and deciding that horror movies like Alien or The Thing are porn whenever I'm watching them. Especially given that I write horror as a hobby.

Hey MoogleFluumph, welcome to the boards! Congrats on starting testosterone, by the way; I hope it could help you feel more assured and aligned with your gender identity. ^^

I'm sorry that you've been feeling anxious about your sexual fantasies though. Considering you've been so anxious to the point of having nightmares, would you say this anxiety have influenced other parts of your life, such as your work/school/college and your relationship with other people? I also can't help but wonder how the people around you (including in the online spaces you hang out with) talk about horror media, particularly the gnarlier parts of it. A lot of users have come to us talking about how worried they are about the sexual fantasies they have, and a huge factor that influences their worry is how the community/communities they're in have negative attitudes on certain sexual fantasies.
