Fingers dont work

When I try touching my clit with fingers nothing ever happens no matter which way I do it it has to be vibrating (the vibrator didnt desensitize me even before I ever used one fingers wouldnt work ) and even then when i do successfully get a build up it becomes way too much and sometimes uncomfortable very fast tho if i go too light with it it feels the same as putting it on your arm or something so I stop ive never tried to continue past that point cause idk if my body's telling me to stop or if im supposed to keep going what do u think (and ive been trying for like 5 years since hitting puberty) any ideas thanks
