How long can sperm survive on...?

Unread post by MoradM »

Hello.
I've read much research, and alot of articles online, but it seems to me that different experts and different research come up with very different answers.
So I decided I'd ask here, and see what kind of answers I get, logically:

How long can sperm survive on:
1. Clothes?
2. Human skin?
3. Water or Hot Tub?
4. Inside the body? (although most researches agree that it is from 4-7 days)
5. Generally outside? (like wood, concrete floor, metal, etc...)

So far as I know, the only data we really have is about how long inside the testes or the vagina, which is really the only data that would have any relevance anyway, beyond data about semen and sperm in lab conditions for IVF.

IOW, semen, and thus, sperm cells, on any of those other surfaces ha e nothing to do once on those surfaces but stain, so we do not likely even have that data because there is no application for it.
