Hi, I am on Microgestin fe. I need some help. Tonight was the first pill of my next pill. After I took the pill tonight I found a peice of food stuck in my tooth from dinner. I rinsed out my mouth with water and then spit a few times to try to get it out. This was about two minutes after I took my pill. I am extremely anxious whether I spit out some of the pill contents. Can That happen? This was after I swallowed it. Can you please help me because I am extremely afraid of pregnancy. Thanks

Also do I need to take another pill? I meant before that it was the first pill of my new pack. Also I took th pill with water. Probably like a half a cup or so. I just get really nervous all the time that my pill will fail and I'm worried that because this is the first pill and I may not have gotten it all down I'm in trouble:(

You had already swallowed the pill, so there is nothing to worry about.

So there's no way that there was any part of the pill left in my mouth at all?

Nope, once you swallowed it, it was in your stomach ( or on it's way there).

Oh I forgot to ask you one more thing. The pill started to melt in my mouth a drop until I got water to swallow it with. Does the answer remain the same still?

Yep - once you swallowed it, it's on its way to your stomach, and no longer in your mouth.
