Running
Hi, I take my bc pill after I go running every day. I sometimes
Am out of breath. Tonight I was pretty out of breath. Just wondering can that be a problem with effectiveness? Should I find a new time?

Re: Running
Being out of breath will not cause problems with your pill. You only need to be concerned about effectiveness if you take other medications that can interfere, if you throw up within an hour or so after taking it, or if you miss a pill.

Re: Running
I also wanted to ask you for some advice. I worry a lot that things I do like everyday normal stuff will affect the effectiveness of my pill. For example tonight I got some hand sanitizer in my eye by mistake and then I searched the Internet to see if it can decrease the effectiveness of the pill... Anytime I search the Internet it makes me much more nervous. How do I take a step back and just trust the pill that it will do its job? Can something like that actually even effect it?

Hi Dolly,
So, when we see someone worrying about things compromising their BC that on no planet could actually do so, that's usually a sign that they either aren't 100% clear on how the method works, or something else is making them anxious (either tied to sex specifically or a more general anxiety). We actually cover those ideas in more depth in this article. You can read it and see if any of the explanations ring a bell for you:
