Packers?

Unread post by FanndisTS »

Hey guys,
I'm having trouble figuring out this whole packer thing. There are just so many options! Does anyone know a good packer (preferably doubling as an STP device) that would be good for a first-timer? I don't even have any male underwear yet, so what kinds do I need to make an STP packer work? Basically, what are the essentials for presenting male? I just have no clue where to start. Thanks!

Mind filling me in on what resources -- online, books, etc. -- you've already looked at? In terms of all the things: not just packing, but also the bigger picture with all things gender non-conforming? That way, I can best figure out what to suggest for you. :)

I've mostly just googled packers and binding, and came across resources like ftmguide.org... Honestly, my body shape's pretty undeniably feminine (my hip-to-waist ratio is ridiculous), so I'd really appreciate suggestions for anything on looking more masculine without permanent physiological repercussions (for example, I'll probably never consider T because I'm more gender-fluid than just straight male, and I definitely want biological kids someday). Basically, I have no clue where to start when trying to look more masculine (because, on me, masculine's going to end up looking pretty much androgynous, which is what I'm going for, because I'd LOVE if some people read me as male and some as female, because that's basically how I feel - somewhere in between). Thanks so much!

Some days I do feel totally male, though, so packers aren't out of the range of what I'm going for. :D

Online... there's really no queer-friendly bookstores around here.

My laptop is being a jerk with cutting and pasting links right now, grr! As soon as I get that sorted out, I'll be back to give you some titles and links!

(Where do you usually buy books from online? That way I can go ahead and search at that place for you so I don't wind up giving you titles you can't get.)
