Making a Choice

Whether a pregnancy is planned or not, it can be hard to remember that there are choices after a pregnancy has occurred. For some, deciding between parenting, adoption, and abortion is an easy decision while for others it might be more of a struggle.
This is a space for people who have or who are experiencing a pregnancy to share how they decided which option they chose for their pregnancy.
Please share as much or as little as you are comfortable with but you can keep in mind some of the following:
-How did you feel?
-What things did you consider to help you make a decision?
-Are there things you wish you would have considered?
-Did you have support or were you discouraged from making a certain choice? What role did that play?
Just a reminder, Scarleteen is pro-choice which means we support the right of each and every person to make decisions that are right for them. This is not a space to judge the choices that others have made but it is a space for those who have had to make this decision to share their feelings about it openly and freely.
