Hi I heard that some foods can interact with the pill. I have heard a lot about parsley and how it makes a period to come quicker etc. I happen to like parsley in salad and stuff. I was wondering is parsley something that can interact with birth control? Can it make me stain or make the pill any less effective if Its in foods/salads?

You are in luck: we just added a new article about what does and does not interact with hormonal birth control. Check it out - http://www.scarleteen.com/article/bodie ... th_control

That article was great! I didn't see anything about food. Do I assume that it does not interact with parsley? Also I take Pepcid and Tums does that interact with only emergency contraception or bc pills too? The pharmacist told me to just take them at different times.

If you don't see something on the list of things that may interfere with the pill, you can assume that's because there is no interaction. Per the Pepcid and Tums, if your pharmacist told you it was okay as long as you took them at different times, then that's fine.
