Wrapper piece inside condom

S o I was on a trip with my boyfriend and we had sex while I was on my period

After we were done I looked down at the condom and realized a piece of the condom wrapper was INSIDE the condom. It was a Trojan condom so the wrapper was a hard foil type. It was a piece of the edge.

We put water in it and checked every part and it was not broken. It has moved around inside as well. It was blue.

Could this have effected the effective rate? Thank you

Hi Rainbowhooves,

As long as the condom did not break (which is sounds like it didn't) or come off, then you can assume it did its job and that the effectiveness wasn't compromised. And, so you know, if it had been torn by the wrapper piece, the tear would have been noticeable, even without the water test.
