How do I hint to my boyfriend that I want to go out on a date?
How do I also hint that I want flowers?
Do I sound too needy??

Re: Dates
Hi loveyorusxx,
The honest answer is it's better to avoid hinting altogether. I know that can feel scary, especially if you've been socialized to not ask for what you want directly, but it's much better for your feelings and relationship in the long run. So if you want to go on a date, you can say "hey, can we go on a date this weekend?" And for flowers, you can mention that you'd like it if he got you them once in awhile (or, if he asks what you want for a certain occasion, you can say "flowers")

And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
