in the beginning of May i had unprotected sex (i haven't had sex since) & then i got my full, heavy period a day later. i also took an emergency contraceptive appx 60 hrs later too, & the doctor started me on birth control. i have had 3 normal, on-time periods since, & i had to stop birth control about a month ago, at the end of my second pack. anyways, i was expecting to get my period july 30th, but i haven't yet! i have not had any pregnancy symptoms, but is there still a possiblilty? or is my period just late because of stopping birth control?

Is this period late?
What were the dates of your last three periods: that will help us figure out if this one is late.

Okay. So, the last few have been 28 days on the nose. Generally, when trying to get a sense of cycles, we want to look at about six months. Six months of cycles that ware exactly 28 days apart every time would be unusual, but presuming that was the case, seems like that pattern is broken now.
Based on the last three, you are late now, but you can know this isn't about pregnancy if the last time you took any risk of that was in May, as you've had periods since.

Sure thing.
It might help to remember that it really would be VERY unusual for someone to have 28 day cycles with no deviation for more than a few months ( or cycles of any number than never shift). What's more common are deviations of 2-3 days, so if that doesn't happen for a while, you can usually figure shifts and deviations will probably be coming soon.
