Birth control pill

Unread post by silverc »

Hi! So I finished the active pills on my package right before a big trip. Because of the time changes I didn't take any of the inactive pills of the package. However I started a new package at the usual time so I didn't take a longer brake than it was directed. Is there a problem if I don't take the inactive pills? I read the instructions that come with the pill and there it says that they don't have any hormones.

Nope, that's fine. Those pills are basically there to take for people who find that it's easier for them to stay in the habit of taking a pill each day around the same time, and also for whom it makes easier to remember to start their next pill pack at the right time.

But that's an option: some people don't need to do that so just take the seven day break without taking the inactive/placebo pills.
