Birth Control Nightmare

Unread post by sammy12345 »

Hi,
So I just started birth control this Sunday, avian to be exact. I remember my doctor warning me about blood clots as a potential risk, and she told me to look out for pain in my thighs or chest. On Tuesday night, I started to experince some minor pain in my leg, and all I could think about was that it was a blood clot. I stayed up for hours, and even threw up. Throughout Wednesday and today, I have had a dull pain, to a little more noticeable pain in both my thighs, feet, ankles, and a little in the chest. Is this a blood clot, or am i literally just beyond freaking myself out and worrying about this way too much.
Your impute would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Sammy

We can't know whether it's a blood clot or not: the thing to do if you're having any worrying symptoms with a new medication is contact your doctor. They should always be the first person you get in touch with if you're concerned about things like this.

Glad to hear it. (Keep in mind too that if the pain you're having becomes severe, or you develop any other symptoms, the emergency room is always an option too.)
