Bleeding after EC

I took my EC an hour after condom failure, 5 days later i started bleeding, like i was having my period ( i got out of my period the day before i had intercourse), fast forward 3 days later and im still bleeding, is this normal?
Also, when is a good time to take a pregnancy test to see if the pill worked?

Hello there, sugar.

People react different to Emergency Contraception so is hard to say what is normal or not but is not that uncommon for people to have bleeding after taking EC. Pregnancy test can be taken after 14 days of the risk, or when you have a missing period; whatever comes first. The best thing to do is follow the instructions of the test you are planning to take. :)
