Plan B making pill less effective?

I read somewhere that taking Plan B while on birth control could potentially cause a drop of hormones after the Plan B has gone through your system which could cause breakthrough ovulation even when continuing with the pills.
Is this true? Logically it doesn't make sense - but I wanted to ask the experts.

I haven't taken Plan B in months and I've done this before with no issues. I should also note that I am not going through a scare right now, just needed a question answered. Thanks!

That is absolutely not true. Do you remember where you read that?

I think I answered my own question. Plan B's website FAQs say to continue BC as normal. :) Same with PP.

I can't recall, sorry! It must have not been reputable since I checked reputable sources and could find nada. Thanks for your time :)

Well, you took the right next step to check out more sources - if you see a claim somewhere that's not backed up by any official sources you can generally assume it's not true. :)
