I've looked at the side effects of the pill I'm using and one of them is that you can gain weight. Is your digestine slower? Or what does your body just absorb fat easier?
And also how come some cause acne?

I'm not sure where you're looking, but studies over the last ten years or so have clearly found that outside a small - less than five pounds - and usually very temporary increase in water weight (bloating), oral contraceptives are NOT associated with weight gain. The only method that is is Depo.
Most also help with some kinds of acne, not cause it. But for people whose acne is hormonal in origin, any change in hormone levels - synthetic or otherwise - can result in flare-ups.
