Missed/Late Birth control pill
I've been on birth control for a month now I've taken every pill 2 pills were taken about 15-30 minutes late. Today I will miss my pill because the pharmacy is closed (my pack is empty), I also has unprotected sex today and there was cum on me but not in me. Are my chances of being pregnant still low and will it increase the longer I have to wait for my next pill. Should I take an ec or just take the 2/3 pills tomorrow/tuesday? Because tomorrow is labor day and I'm not sure if the pharmacy will be open?

Just to make sure I'm understanding: you were supposed to start a new pack of pills today, but didn't have that new pack? Also, when you say there was ejaculate on you but not in you, can you be a little bit more specific? Was it on your genitals or somewhere else on your body?

Yes, i'm suppose to start a new pack on pills today, but didn't have the new pack. It was on my genitals.

Re: Missed/Late Birth control pill
Ejaculation on your genitals does pose a risk of pregnancy. It's not a high risk, but it is still a risk, and so yes, I would recommend getting EC. Your pharmacist will have more specific instructions about making up your missed pills when you get your new pack, but generally you want to take missed pills as soon as you can, even if that means taking more than one in a day.

Re: Missed/Late Birth control pill
So if I get an ec, I would take both the ec and the 2 missed pills.

Also, one more question. If I were to have intercourse again, should I use a condom or is it okay to not use one?

It would be best to use a condom, and to keep using condoms until you're at least a week into your new pack of pills.

Re: Missed/Late Birth control pill
The best thing to do is to look at the information leaflet that comes in your pill pack and see what it says there about what to do if you miss the first two pills in a pack. You can also ask a pharmacist or the doctor who prescribed them for you to look at that information with you and to give you advice.
For the future, it's a good idea to have at least the next pack of pills well before you need them, or even better, a spare pack of pills just in case. Doctors are usually happy to keep people a little ahead like that, as it avoids problems if people have difficulties getting the next pack when they need it. Are you able to see the doctor who prescribed them and arrange that?

Re: Missed/Late Birth control pill
Yes, it is possible for me to get a spare pack. As for the pills it says that I take 2 today and 2 tomorrow. Also if I don't receive the ec in time, what are my chances?

Re: Missed/Late Birth control pill
If you don't get EC but still take two pills today and two tomorrow, you be in the "typical use" category vs. the "perfect use" one for bc pill protection, but that still means it's unlikely you would become pregnant. There's no way we can know for sure what your chances are, but they'd be pretty low.
