"i also do not want to progress any further i.e have sex but I'm worried my boyfriend has different ideas? what should i say to him?
thank you in advance"
Hi Daisydoodle,
If you know you do not want to progress any further with your boyfriend than you do not have to and your boyfriend should respect and listen to that. Even if he does have different ideas of what he wants to do, it is not okay if he does not respect your decision to not have intercourse or proceeds to pressure you into doing so. Would you feel comfortable starting a conversation with him about sex and how you do not want to progress with intercourse? Have you had conversations with him like that before?
If you want to communicate this to him but don't know how i am happy to work through some ways you could bring it up with him
