Hello!
I recently started birth control, Tri-Previfem to be exact, and am on the third active week of the first month of pills. My placebo week isn't supposed to be for another 2-3 days and I'm already bleeding quite significantly. Is it normal for this to happen when someone first begins taking an oral contraceptive? Thanks!

Re: Birth Control and Bleeding
There isn't really one version of "normal" for this, but it is fairly common for bleeding to not sync up with the placebo pills for the first cycle or two of taking the pill.
The kyriarchy usually assumes that I am the kind of woman of whom it would approve. I have a peculiar kind of fun showing it just how much I am not.
