Confused

Unread post by JosieM »

I've been on here before but please hear me out...I really need some help! I have been to a psychologist for 6 months now but my fears are still just as bad and I'm confused. I have never had a boyfriend or sex of any sort (100% virgin-never even kissed a guy!) but I am again convinced I'm pregnant. My reason for thinking this is that my brain tells me that when I cleaned the toilet seat(on an airplane), the wet thing I wiped off was semen and I then used that bit of paper to wipe myself. Although I am pretty certain I did not do that, (as I have ocd and the reason I cleaned the seat was because of fear of pregnancy) IF I did use that bit of paper with 'semen' from the airplane toilet seat, is there is a pregnancy risk as the 'semen' may have still been alive?
I am terrified and so frustrated because I can't be 100% sure that I didn't use the piece of dirty paper or know what was on the seat. (i don't really know what semen looks like either) basically I'm confused because I think wiping something off a seat then using the same bit of paper could be a risk but they don't teach us that at school? I know on here it says 'direct' contact but if the semen is still wet there is still a chance? I'm just terrified...non stop. Also my period only comes every 14 weeks or so- can my period be a true indicator that I am not pregnant?

Hi Josie,

We will not answer ANY questions about pregnancy fear or anxiety in our direct services from users who are not pregnant or who are not or have not otherwise been directly involved with an actual pregnancy.

Please do not post this kind of question. If you are seeing this text, and your thread is locked, it is because you have posted this kind of question.

We CAN and WILL talk about things like:
• choosing and using a method or methods of contraception for any future sexual activity
• creating your own sexual limits and boundaries based on your needs and/or presenting them to any partners
• making sexual choices that suit your own needs, abilities and limitations, including your own readiness for certain possible risks
• help locating or using emergency contraception if and when you have had a pregnancy risk
• discussing options with a real, existing pregnancy, and help finding and accessing those options, such as abortion services and pre-natal care, or discussing feelings or concerns about a past pregnancy
• help with anxiety like locating mental health services, sound self-help or asking for support from friends or family

You mentioned speaking with a therapist about this. We've made a new thread to talk about that with you here: http://www.scarleteen.com/bb/viewtopic. ... 213#p24213
