Confused
Okay so almost a month ago now was the last time I had sex... Protected sex using a condom. This was five days before my last period and then two days before my last period. After both sexual encounters, I got my normal period right on time. But my friend has been arguing that just because I had my period, it doesn't mean that I am safe from pregnancy. Sperm can live for five days & I can still become pregnant she says. But I can't possibly have ovulated five days or two days before my period right? A luteal phase is around 12-16 days on average correct? So how could my friend possibly be correct? My cycles are 30 days long... If I had my normal period then there can't be a chance of pregnancy. My friend said I would miss my period the next month (which is this month) & she's starting to make me nervous, confused, & kinda doubtful. Is it possible to be pregnant even AFTER a normal period when having sex RIGHT before a upcoming period?
