My mum and I were talking about her medical history. When she was in her late 20s, she miscarried and was diagnosed with lupus anticoagulant antibodies, which caused her to have a clot that resulted in the miscarriage.
I was wondering if this particular clot constituents having a history of blood clots, and affects whether or not I should remain on the pill? I believe (I was too young to remember) that I have tested negative to lupus.
Does this count as a history of blood clots?

Hi aj2234,
This is really a question for your doctor, as they'll have a sense of how her history might affect yours.
