I have had unrpotected anal sex with my 7 months boyfriend about five weeks ago but it didnt last it lasted maybe one minute we didnt do any of the std tests cuz in my counry u are not allowed to have a boyfriend at 18 by ur parents so my parents dont know about this and my boyfriend is still a virgin i am scared bc i got a cold nd i have a sore throat but i know that both of us me and my partner are hiv negative im afarid nd im stressing bc i lost weight but i started losing weight before having sex and my boyfriend told me to not worry about anything so i started to google anything that had to do with hiv and i went to the doctor too but he only gave me some antibiotics and told me to drink saulted water im losing my mind im so stressed about this please help me somehow i need to calm down

Hi Elsat,

For starters, there's no way for us to diagnose what's going on via the internet. More than that, if your partner has not been sexually active with anyone else and is not a drug user who shares needles (or had a mother who is HIV positive who could have passed it to him) there's not a place he could have picked it up.

There are two things you can do to take care of yourself going forward. One is to stop googling information about HIV. That's keeping your brain locked in a panic mode. The second is that if you're going to be sexual again, you need to use a condom, since going without one if clearly making you really stressed out.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
