Hello!
I just want to ask if it's UTI or something else. Oct. 19 I had a protected period sex, I was on my 3rd day that time and we did it 4 times. The 1st to 3rd times it dosen't hurt at all but after the 4th times and when I pee it so hurt that I need to grip on something. The next day morning I did pee and the pain is a little bit got better but I still get the pain. Later that day we got intimate again but this time he did not put his inside mine and we just rub each other againts ours, and I was wearing a pad that time cause I still have my period (the flow is not heavy anymore so,) . He tried to licked me but I stopped him cause it so painful to do so. Then the next day I begin to feel itchy in my vagina and a little pain after I urinate , the itchiness is not that intense tho, and I still have the itchiness a little bit till now. And yesterday we have sex again we use condom, again after sex, I urinate and the pain I feel the other days is the same. We also did a unprotected sex that time and I feel much more better after all (when we use condom that time I feel itchy.) So I was thinking it is UTI or allergy in condom? but I'm not sure its UTI cause I don't really need to go to the bathroom frequently.

Re: Painful urination after sex
Painful urination is often because of a UTI, but the only way to know for sure is to get checked out by a doctor. It would be a good idea to do that as soon as you can, because if it is a UTI, letting it go untreated can mean that it could spread to your kidneys, which isn't something you want. Until you can get a diagnosis, take a break from having any kind of sex; continuing to have sex when you have any kind of genital irritation or infection is just going to make things worse and more uncomfortable.
(If you're concerned about a latex allergy, by the way, there's a pretty easy way to tell: put a condom or latex glove over your hand for a few minutes, and if your hand gets itchy or you develop any kind of rash, then it's likely you're allergic.)
