Does missed period mean absence of ANY discharge ??

Hi

So I just wanted to clarify something
I havent had my "full flow" yet for two days now I have just had light brown discharge :/ I was due for my flow on 9th Dec but I only got brown discharge and on the 10th as well
I'm still waiting on my full flow.. Does this mean period is late ? Or does this brown discharge account for a very very light period? Im just not sure ..

A late period is usually defined as a period which has not arrived five or more days since the very latest someone expected it. :)
