Hi there,
I'm looking for some advice on a particular topic. When my girlfriend and I have sex, we use a condom, withdraw with the condom, and she takes the pill. I've looked at the buddy system article about the percentage of safety/risk. But at times I still can't shake the worry, which inevitably gets in the way with sex. What are some ways to get better at this? We are safe?
Thank you,
Yips

Re: Sex Yips
Hi Yipsguy, welcome to Scarleteen! We have a lot of articles about anxiety around sex and pregnancy, so I would definitely recommend starting there:
Chicken Soup for the Pregnancy Symptom Freakout's Soul
You're Not Pregnant. Why Do You think You Are?
The Pregnancy Panic Companion
Anxiety and Other Mental Health Resources
(some of these are aimed more towards people who are the ones capable of becoming pregnant, but the info and advice can still apply to their partners, too)
