Emergency contraception

Unread post by Star19 »

Another question I wanted to ask was does emergency contraception work during ovulation? I mean no one has a way of knowing when they ovulate and if you had unprotected sex during ovulation but you took the emergency pill right after can it still help?

Hi Star19,

Yes, emergency contraception should have the same effectiveness no matter where one is in their cycle (as it delays or inhibits ovulation).
