Birth control
Hi there,
So recently I stopped taking Diane 35 (because of migraines), and switched to Cerelle about 5 days later. However, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend during the first 7 days of Cerelle. I just wanted to know whether I have a high risk of pregnancy?
Thank you for your time

Re: Birth control
When you switch brands of birth control, there isn't a lapse in coverage as long as you don't wait longer than your normal placebo period of 7 days to start the new pill. Since you only waited 5 days I see no reason you wouldn't continue to be fully protected the same way you were with your previous brand. If you have any questions about how those specific pills work during transition you can give a call to your doctor or pharmacist.
