Hi,
I am on the last 7 days of alesse 21 pills. I have had diarrhea every morning this past week. Only once a day in the morning though, and I normally take my pills at 9pm every night. Do these count as missed pills? Even if it was 12 hours past taking the pill but once every day? Sorry for the awkwardness!!

If the loose stool is happening that long after you've taken your pill, and only once a day, then the effectiveness shouldn't be decreased. If you're concerned though you can always check in with a pharmacist.
