I know that sperm has a high PH level and is alkaline, Does having BV make the vagina a more hospitable place for sperm since BV has a higher PH level?

Does the vagina stay alkaline from sperm if you don't cure the BV?
And how long is the survival rate of sperm in this type of conditions?

These aren't questions that I am aware anyone has the answers to or any data about. Most likely that's because, with the sperm cells questions, this just isn't relevant, since semen takes care of countering the acidic nature of the vagina regardless.

Sperm, though, do not change the pH of the vagina, period. Semen does, but only temporarily.
