Bleeding after sex

Unread post by Sam W »

Hi Lemonylimey,

Bleeding is not "supposed" to happen after sex, whether it's your first time or not. Now, it does happen to plenty of people when they first have sex due to a lack of lube or to tension. If you want to minimize your chances of bleeding in the future, check this out: From OW! to WOW! Demystifying Painful Intercourse

With the bleeding you're experiencing now, as you know we can't say for certain what it is. If it does not stop and does not appear to be your period, then you should consult a healthcare provider. Also, are you and your partner up to date on your STI tests?
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
