What happens if you are pregnant and you start taking birth control?
I know it says no pregnancy scares, but this is a little different. I took a plan b pill 48 hours after unprotected sex and then started birth control the next day. Is it possible to still pregnant after that? I’m going to take a test tomorrow, but I just wasn’t sure if it was even possible.

Emergency contraception like Plan B can work after a risk. Unless you're taking one of the brands that can be used for EC with the right dosage, other birth control pills can't do that. And neither medication can end a pregnancy if one has already occurred.
So, what risk remains after the use of Plan B is what we know from it's effectiveness rating. EC pills taken in that time window are going to be around 95% effective.
