Hey , I'm confused because there is lots of confusing and different opinions on stuff and I trust you guys and whatever information you give me so my questions is because I know that a withdrawal bleed is not the same as a menstual period is it still an indication that you are not pregnant ( if it comes at the right time and it's the same heaviness as always)? Because some people have said to me that it is common for a girl to get a normal withdrawal bleed and still be pregnant ..

Hi Charliex,

If someone is pregnant, they will not get their withdrawal bleed.

Hi Charliex,

If someone is pregnant, they typically will not get their withdrawal bleed, just as they wouldn't a period.

It's possible, yes, but not at all likely (these are human bodies, after all: every now and then, they do weird things). However, if anyone is at the point where they are wondering about a pregnancy from a previous cycle when they have gotten the withdrawal bleed from that cycle already, then they also can do ahead and take a pregnancy test at that point if they want a definitive answer.

So, if this is about yourself, and you currently have a pregnancy concern, you know what to do: time for a test.
