Period Problems!

Hi guys! Just wanted to say thank you for your help on my 2 previous posts.

I’m so sorry but I have another question about something different! I’m really sorry if I’m wasting your time, I just don’t know who to ask

Basically my period finally came 33 days after my withdrawal bleed after stopping the pill, and has been pretty heavy for 2 days then medium for 2, but it looks like it’s drying out now. My pre-pill period lasted about 6 full days but this has only been 4 but I think that’s just due to the pill.

My question is about the idea of bleeding during pregnancy. Is that very common and would it be heavy? I did a test this morning which was negative and had heavy blood, and if I were to be pregnant I’d be like 13 days anyway so think it would be too early for decidual bleeding as I think you called it in another post. I’m so sorry but I just really want to trust this period but my anxiety is getting the better of me! I was so happy when it came as I thought I was in the clear but I’ve seen stuff online from women who said they had heavy period-like bleeds but were pregnant anyway

I’m so sorry if this violated your pregnancy policy, but I just don’t know who to turn to. Thank you!

Indeed, this is clearly about a pregnancy concern, so, here's the deal with that, and I'd take a look at the links enclosed, as a couple of them address exactly this kind of concern:

We will not answer ANY questions about pregnancy fear or anxiety in our direct services from users who are not pregnant or who are not or have not otherwise been directly involved with an actual pregnancy.

Please do not post this kind of question. If you are seeing this text, and your thread is locked, it is because you have posted this kind of question.

We CAN and WILL talk about things like:
• choosing and using a method or methods of contraception for any future sexual activity
• creating your own sexual limits and boundaries based on your needs and/or presenting them to any partners
• making sexual choices that suit your own needs, abilities and limitations, including your own readiness for certain possible risks
• help locating or using emergency contraception if and when you have had a pregnancy risk
• discussing options with a real, existing pregnancy, and help finding and accessing those options, such as abortion services and pre-natal care, or discussing feelings or concerns about a past pregnancy
• help with anxiety like locating mental health services, sound self-help or asking for support from friends or family

For help dealing with a scare (including what poses a risk and your next steps based on your unique situation), you may use our tool on site built for this purpose: The Pregnancy Panic Companion.
