IUD
Im considering getting an iud. I've already had one doctor appointment about it. I'm curious to know if you ovulate on an iud? And if you already have ovarian cysts is an iud a bad choice?

Re: IUD
Hi gatesy,
IUDs don't prevent ovulation, the hormones stay mostly in your uterus and the IUDs mainly reduces chances of pregnancy by preventing fertalisation.
I think there is a relationship between IUDs and ovarian cysts but these probably vary between people and it's best to talk to your doctor about what's best for you.
