Terrified i might be intersex?

I've been concerned for a while now because i could never seem to find my clitoris (i identify as female, which is what I have always been told and have never questioned) but it didn't seem possible that i wouldn't have one. Tonight i was trying to figure out if i could find it and was feeling inside my vagina, which as far as I can tell looks normal. Something that has always been there and I have never given a second thought too until tonight is that a few inches inside my vagina there is a sort of "tube" protrusion thing that is maybe not quite an inch long or maybe half an inch, it is somewhat firm and has what feels like a sort of hole at the end. There is not really sensation when i touch it. I am terrified that i might somehow be intersex, i feel sick and confused. I cannot talk to my parents about it. Please help i am freaking out. I look like a girl, i have boobs and although i am slim i definitely have a girl's body and face but i am so confused

That sounds like your cervix. The cervix is inside the vaginal canal, and basically juts out from the uterus. It is cylindrical in shape, and has a very small opening at the end called the os that feels a little bit like the dimple on a chin.

But I would like to talk you down off this ledge and hopefully away from this bias a little bit. It's okay to be intersex. Some people are, and there's nothing wrong with it, nor is it in any way problematic by default to be intersex and non-problematic not to be. Most intersex people don't need to have any kind of surgery or medical treatment, and live their lives just like anyone else does. It's not an illness, it's just a genetic variation, like, say, having freckles is. Okay?
