Concerned for my health
Okay, so I'm legit freaking out (which happens all the time. lol anxiety is a riot) I think I might have some sort of disease , like, down there. I have no idea how it could have happened because I'm a virgin. I have had a lot of fluids coming out uncontrollably (I'm legit wearing a pad), i have some bumps that hurt when I touch it and sometimes it just burns out of no where. I'm usually prone to yeast infections after my period, but this is a constant thing. And if this is something that needs to be treated, how can I tell my dad??

Hi _boople_snoot,
Sounds like you need to see a healthcare provider! Since we are online, we are not able to offer you diagnosis nor treatment.
A sound next step would be to call to make an appointment tomorrow when offices open, and until then focus on minimizing your anxiety and doing self-care. Remind yourself that even though these symptoms are unfamiliar and uncomfortable, you will be OK. And there is nothing you can do to remedy the situation right this moment. If you need some self-care ideas, here's a big ole list: Self-Care a La Carte.
In terms of talking with your dad, you have a few options. One option is to not talk to him. As a teen you have a right to receive healthcare confidentially. Another option is to share with him. You could say, "I'm having some irritation on my vulva that I want a doctor to look at." You could also give less or more detail than that, whatever information you feel comfortable with. Since you know yourself and your relationship with your dad best, I will let you decide what the right move is!
Do you know where to call for a check-up? If you have been to a OB-GYN before you can go there again. You can
also put in your zip code on the websites below to find a clinic near you:

How does that sound?

I keep meaning to talk to my dad, but I'm really not sure how or when is the right time.

Hi Boople_Snoot,
Have you been able to make your appointment with a healthcare provider yet? If so, how did that go?
When you say you've been meaning to talk to your dad, do you mean talk to him specifically about this issue? Or about something else?

Okay, then your next step is to call a healthcare provider and schedule an appointment as soon as possible. That way you can get the issues you've been having checked out, which will hopefully also cut down on some of the stress you're feeling.

Re: Concerned for my health
I contacted my mom and she said she could take me to a healthcare provider. I'm not sure when it'll happen but I'll be on top of that
