Vaginal discharge

Unread post by CatC »

Hi!

I'm healthy and have one sexual partner. I've been having regular vaginal discharge as if i'm wounded. I was in pain in the beginning but am not any longer, what do you think should i do about this situation?

Thanks for any advice

Hi there, CatC. :)

When you say your discharge is like you've been wounded, I'm assuming it looks like blood; is that correct? Are you noticing this happening at a particular time, like after sex with your partner, or at a certain point in your menstrual cycle? Also, are you and your partner up to date on STI testing?

We have a rundown on what's normal and what might be a cause for concern in discharge here: Honorably Discharged: A Guide to Vaginal Secretions You may find that helpful as well!
