Hi,

I was cleaning the floor with disinfectant then remembered I had to take my pill,
I didn’t wash my hands before taking it, could this have any effect on my pill?

Could touching the pill packet with disinfectant on my hands have affected the pills at all?

Hi Corrie,

No, this would not decrease the effectiveness of your pill. Generally speaking, how comfortable are you with using the pill as a method? And do you feel like you have a fairly good understanding of how it works? I ask because you've had multiple questions and worries like this one, which often signals that a person isn't fully comfortable with the birth control they've chosen.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
