Combined pill
I was wondering, me and my boyfriend have been very sexually active this week. We didn’t have sex the 1st month I was on the combined pill but we did now it’s my 2nd. We didn’t use a condom. Have I anythig to worry about other than STI’s etc?

Re: Combined pill
Hi Sallybampa,
Since you've been on the pill for over a month you should be fully protected assuming you take it correctly and consistently. Are you comfortable using only the pill as your protection against pregnancy, or would you feel more comfortable with an added layer of protection? We generally recommend people use at least two methods if they want to decrease the risk of pregnancy as much as they can (and, as you pointed out, you need a condom to protect against STIs)

And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
