Teen sexuality struggles

I am a teen girl and I really want to explore my sexuality more in depth. So I really want to purchase a sex toy but I'm not sure how to bring it up with my parents in a way that will make them understand and that wont be super awkward.

Are you saying you'd like to ask them to buy it for you? Or that you want to tell them that you are getting one in case they find it? Or....?

Oh yeah I did make that confusing, I basicly want to ask them if I can get one in general but I don't know if it's something they would be ok with or not

You know, from the sounds of your other post, sharing this very private part of your sexuality doesn't sound like a very emotionally safe thing to do with your family. It also doesn't sound likely they'd be very supportive.

Honestly, most people don't share much, if anything, with their families about their masturbation or other parts of their sex lives like this, even when their families are supportive and accepting, just because it is pretty private and keeping it that way does tend to support healthy boundaries.

If you aren't asking them to buy you something (which seems likely to be met with nothing that's going to make you feel good), then you don't need their permission. Why not just buy or make/adapt something yourself?
