bromosexual friendship vs male-male platonic friendship

I am doing a research for my Master's, the focus is on the conflicting attitudes and prejudice embedded in heterosexuals being friends with gays.

now i would like to know what is the correct term for this this type of friendship between straight males and gay guys.?

Hi Nwabos,
In my experience, people in friendships with people of different sexual orientations just call then friendships or platonic relationships. Those are generally the terms you'll also see people use for them, adding qualifiers where needed ( such as "guy friend").
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
