Hello. Guess I'll jump right in. I track my periods and I usually have a general idea/window of what day it will be starting. My last period was 3/20/2018. I did have sex with my bf 3/30/18 we used the condom+withdrawl method and followed it to the 'T'. So I know I'm for sure not pregnant. So I guess my question is what could be the reason as to why my period has yet to begin? T.I.A

hey Tlove00
There are lots of different reasons that a period might not begin when we expect it, including the fact that even if you have a regular cycle the length usually varies by several days. A period isn't considered late until at least 5 days after the latest it's expected, and even then factors such as stress and exercise might cause irregularities.

So, no matter how many years a person has been having a menstrual it's not uncommon for it to skip a month?

People can skip periods or have them later at any time of life, and never, ever skipping one -- or having changes in one's cycles with when they show up or how they feel -- would be very unusual.
So yep, it doesn't matter how many years someone has been menstruating, they can always have changes with hiccups with their cycles.

Ok. Thanks. Since I've been keeping track this is the first I've noticed that it didn't come when I expected it.
