If you are now or have been pregnant and the choice you have made with that pregnancy was to choose to continue a pregnancy and arrange or carry out an adoption arrangement, this is the spot for general talk or peer support with that choice!
* Given our guidelines, it should go without saying that this needs to be a safe space where people receive support, not judgment. This is NOT the place to talk about your general feelings about adoption if you have not yourself chosen one, nor to air any anti-adoption sentiments. However, if you are choosing or have chosen adoption, we respect the range of feelings with that that exists around any reproductive choice. It is okay for those who have chosen adoption and who have hard, negative or mixed feelings to discuss them here, just like it is acceptable for those who have very positive feelings to discuss them here.)
Scarleteen is closed for the next two days, so that's Thursday, October 31st (for Halloween) and Friday, November 1st (for Diwali). We'll be back and able to answer your questions on Saturday. Catch you soon!

IF YOU ARE POSTING TO ASK IF YOU SHOULD USE EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTION:
Please do not wait on us if you may need or want EC (like the morning-after pill). Because it is most effective the sooner it is taken or administered, we suggest that you go ahead and get it, and if you want to talk to someone about whether or not you choose to use it, we can do that with you after. That way, you have it ASAP if you do decide you want or need to use it. <3
