is masturbation meant only for orgasm?
i have been masturbating since i was 6 but didn't know about all this stuff then, and have been masturbating since then. now i am 16 but when i masturbate i can feel nothing.i have tried a lot to get an orgasm but i cannot reach that stage. what could be the reason?

Hi just#me,

While plenty of people orgasm during masturbation, plenty of people do not (in fact, if you take a peek at some other sections of the boards you'll see other people asking why masturbation isn't leading to orgasm for them). It can help to think of orgasm as one possible outcome, rather than the goal, of masturbation. When you say you feel nothing when you masturbate, do you mean you feel no pleasure at all? Or that you don't experience the sensations you think indicate an orgasm?
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
