I’m quite new to birth control. I started about a month and a half ago and have only recently started feeling symptoms. For the last 2 weeks of my period i had some brown discharge followed by what i assumed was a light period. Then about 3 weeks after that / 2 weeks after that i started feelings pain in my breasts when squeezed and lower abdominal cramping. On the 10th day of birth control i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend but of course, no semen entered my vagina unless pre-ejaculate did. I’m very paranoid about everything pregnancy related and am seeking reassurance that I am not pregnant.
I feel nauseous occasionally but it has never been accompanied by throwing up. I keep track every time my boyfriend and i have unprotected and protected sex with an app.
I know that my chances of being pregnant could be quite low as no semen entered my vagina but nothing that I have googled has led me to believe that the cramping is a symptom of birth control as no one really has that, but pelvic pain and abdominal cramping is an uncommon symptom of Alesse, which is what i take. My period is due in 10 days.
Let me know so i can stop freaking out!
